An Orange a Day Keeps the Cold Away..

I have a horribly low-tolerant immune system! I mean, I feel as if I am always getting sick!
This past week I caught a cold and it has lasted a miserable week and is still kickin'!
I have little energy and I have been napping every free moment I get--(which makes for not very productive days)
For this reason, I will be eating an orange a day in hopes to boost my Vitamin C levels as well as help my immune system! I hope this will help.
Title taken from blogger SWEATshirtDRESSshirt, from her title "An apple a day keeps the dermatologist away" :D

What do you all do to help yourselves to stay healthy and not get sick!?

  1. If you are having a cold, an orange or two (or three) is good. You should also take a multi vitamin because you probably aren't eating a lot when you're sleeping. If you can, you should also take a zinc too because it boosts your immune system :)

  2. I hear ya! I'm suffering from a cold right now too. Last night, my throat wouldn't let me sleep until around 5am. It's crazy how these things make us walking zombies so quickly! My immune system hates me!

Unfortunately, I can't have oranges as I'm allergic to citrus. :/ I do drink plenty of hot tea, have small meals to make sure I'm eating through the day, drink lots of water, get plenty of rest, and Delsym becomes my best friend. Hope you feel better soon and that the orange helps! :)

  5. I skipped on the Nordstrom Anni Sale! I just bought some MAC makeup, nothing special. :) I did just get a pair of TOM wedges. Been doing a good job saving! :) How have you been?

I scored 2 single load Tide laundry detergent and Target credited my bill with 6 cents! :D
